How do you get make up (foundation) off of a carpet ?
Question:I spilt foundation on my carpet and i have no idea how or if it will come off any ideas ?

Ariel washing powder and hot water, use only the foam that appears when you whisk it up. Rub this into the carpet then leave for half an hour and repeat. rinse carefully with wettish cloth and hoover when dry.
I did this before and i found a cleansing cloth, the ones you use to take your makeup, off worked fine.
You can also try carpet stain remover or Oxi -Clean all purpose spray works very well.
Try hair shampoo. When you purchase make up brushes, they say to wash them with shampoo which will cut the oils in the makeup that is left on the brush. Shampoo would probably do the same in the carpet. Worth a try?
I find that 1001 carpet cleaner is pretty good. You work the foam into the stain from the outside in, and then let it dry. Hoover the carpet when dry.
