Getting rid of Laptop stains.?

Question:I bought my Toshiba laptop about two years ago and decided to 'bling' it so i bought stick-on glitter bling and stuck it on the cover on my LP , I want to remove it, it has however left an unsightly tough stick residue, how do i get it iff safely off the cover without damaging the surface

Answers:
Get a bottle of Dissolve-It, Wal-mart in the household cleaning products isle for about $3, put a bit on a paper towel or rag and then wipe it on the sticky spots. The sticky stuff should come off easily!

alcohol or nail polish remover... avoid contact with LCD as it could kill it...
get a free laptop on this site instead of buying retail
this is tried and true use baby oil or any hand lotion that contains mineral oil rub it on with fingers, using a little elbow grease(that means rubbing hard). then take a soft cloth and rub it off. i just removed a bunch of adhesive off my kithen counter that was left from baby bumper gaurds that were there for 3 years. good luck.
get some rubbing alcohol, you can buy and bottle really cheap and then put some on a cotton ball or paper towel, and for close jobs to the keys use a qtip. Rub! It will take off the residue from anything sticky.

make sure that you unhook your laptop from any power source and allow it to dry for several hours before you use it, alcohol and electricity don't mix!
