Not sure BUT after you've cleaned it well, through all soap away and start using shower gel instead, believe me, it will keep your bath much cleaner than soap.
Yes, Mr. Clean would be good but sometimes it doesnt get those really hard stains too. I always use Bleach. I have 2 kids and they are 3 years old each. Just soak the tub in bleach and it will work.

I would suggest vinegar and baking soda together. You could for a paste with both ingredients and let it soak into the bathtub. Also I have used just straight vinegar. I use apple cider vinegar all the time when cleaning. Even my pots and pans. Another item I use when wiping down my sinks and bathtub is spray WD40 on a clean rag then dry the bathtub or sink. WD40 is a good water repellent. Simple Green is a good too especially on soap and water build up. Most grocery stores have simple green.

I clean my shower while I'm in it. It works. Just bring in a scrub pad & some cheap soap or shampoo and clean a little at a time. You don't need strong chemicals. It will probably take you about a week to get it clean doing it this way. Once you have gotten it clean take a few minutes while in the shower to wipe down the surfaces and always run a fan or open a window when taking a shower to keep the mold from growing. (the orange stuff you are getting is a type of mold)Soap is soap.
For a nasty dirty tub I would suggest comet or ajax. Very cheap but will remove rust & all! Then after you get all the gunk removed use scrubbing bubbles to keep the sheen on the tub. Scrubbing bubbles is a very mild cleaner on your hands and all but works GREAT! Those are the products I use! Good luck but I promise you those WILL do the trick! :)
cascade for the dish washer.fill tub with hot water and one cup of cascade let sit for 30 minutes..while waiting throw your shower curtains in tub to soak..looks like brand new
well if the tub is supposed to be white use the CLR to remove all the rust stain... I use the Mr. Clean magic eraser on mine, and use the shower spray daily. Makes it so I don't have to scrub it as often...
i use lysol with bleach in the spray bottle, it gets out soap scum and everything, however on my dishwasher, it gets orange sometimes i use the mr clean magic eraser.
