In a magazine I read it says use Bicarbonate of Soda. Sprinkle onto your matress, leave for a few hours then hoover it off. Worth a try. Available in any supermarket at the baking section.
you can vacuum your matress and change the sheets frequently. also, was your pillows. That is where some allergies come from.
The only thing I know of is a professional steam treatment (kills bedbugs, too.) Contact a professional cleaner to do the job.
No. What I do know is the best option I have found is taking the mattress outside and let it set in the sun for a half a day on each side. Preferably on a platform. Then spray it with lysol spray all over. Allow to dry. Purchase a hypoallergenic mattress cover and apply. That is the best I have found to date. Good luck.
here is what I do for my allergies. Other than washing and vacumming. Go to walmart and buy the whole matress covers. Just read the packages, you will find them. Basically you put your mattress in a bag and zip it up. Works wonders on keeping the dust mites away from you and letting you be able to breath again.
well febreze seems to make a product for this; use it and take mattress outside in the direct sunshine. direct sun will eliminate some dustmites. as you know , dustmites are eating your dead skin that EVERYONE loses everyday and night. They say that your mattress will double its weight in 10 years due to dead dust mite bodies! Turn mattress after about 4 hrs and make sure to spray the anti-bacterial on both sides. Of course , this is only whats on the surface, the colony lives deep inside mattress. If you are real worried get it steam cleaned by a professial service, but keep in mind. They are a part of us! want to know what lives in your eye-brows!! Good luck partner!
there are no dustmite sprays that will get rid of dust mites.
hoover both sides of yur mattress once a week to help. dust mites feed of our skins which we all shed daily.
no products is better than the sun. thats i learn from my grandmother.put your mattress under tha sun for a few hours than beat it with a stick.
best weapon is the hoover - you can also get dust mite resistant bedding at bed stores
yeah usually in bedding shops u can buy the covers that r dust might proof,as for killing them in clean easy catalogue u can buy the spray from there.
I use baking soda and let it sit on there for a couple hours, then vaccum it off. When I do this I also wash my sheets in hot water. it seems to work for us.

Follow this link, it is the best stuff I have ever used. I suffer with dust allergies and when I use it, it helps me at night and also it lasts about 5-6months between sprays.
Best £15.00 I ever spent
Have Fun
I use a hoover then a steam cleaner then hoover again a couple of times a year.
These types of sprays leave toxic residue which are extremelly bad for your immune system... please dont poison your mattress! Dust mites will die under sunlight so try standing your mattress up in a sunny room. A vaccuum even a good one can only get a couple inches in and the dust mites soon recolonise. Steam cleaning your mattress is another option, but there is still basicall no way to get the dust mites out of your mattress, even when they are dead. Dead dust mites trigger allergies as well as live ones. If your mattress is more than 5 years old you should replace it and use an all over fitted protector on the new one. Mites die when they come into contact with silver. Some good mattresses have 'nano-silver' covers so dust mites cant get in the mattress to begin with.
But most importantly, do not use toxic chemicals to kill dust mites in your mattress (they also kill off the 'invisible' good bacteria and organisms om your skin, and comprimise your immune system)
