Bleach fade in a auto rug please to fix?

Question:

Answers:
Short of re-dying, you can't really "fix" a bleach fade - the pigment is gone.

If the carpet is maybe a color you can match with rit dye (available at all local Wal Marts). Mix the dye in a spray bottle and slowly spray it in the bleached area. I have had good luck with this. It wont be perfect but it sure looks better. Good luck
i worked at a auto detail place. when the carpet in a car was faded we used spray paint on it.when you are doing this don't make the carpet wet just do a thin layer like you would if you were spray painting something. go to your local store and match the carpet color to the paint. this really does work make sure you don't get it on your other stuff in your car. leave your windows down because it will smell for a day, but it does go away.good luck.
