How not to ruin an A&F polo?
Question:k so i bought this new AF polo with stripes and it says 100% suede cotton and it has a soft texture to it (not like the lacoste polos which are cotton pique) so im afraid to wash it cause the fabric will get ruined and it will have little cotton balls on it just like my other american eagle cotton polos and i hate that it just ruins everything, so is this normal does it hapen to u guys too? or do ur soft cotton polos stay the same after washing it? thnx

I agree with the first answer you got, but that's besides the point I guess.
Have you tried using a gentle detergent and using the gentle cycle? You may also want to get some garment bags to put your clothes in while in the wash machine (it will stop the tugging and pulling from the agitator in the wash).
Why bother purchasing fabric or clothing that is not user friendly? If you can't wear it worry free, then why wear it...is it cool to only have a shirt be nice once?

If you are washing the cotton polo's with towels of socks that is why they have the cotton balls. Read the label and follow the washing instructions on it.It may need to be dry cleaned if so you can get at home kits for that at any store like wal-mart or target..Hope this helps :)
gosh just wash it normally its not like in 1-2 yrs. you'll still be wearing it!! all my lacoste color polos i wash them in the normal cycle w/ cold water. and the light ones either in warm depending if they have certain stains.
