How do I get MOLD out of Cloths?

Question:Is it even possible? I fell behind on laundry this week. I found at the bottom of the hamper my Daughters new shirt. It had food spilled on it & was damp with mold on it. I don't know what to do? Is there anything or any tricks that can get this mold out of her cloths?

Answers:
Pour undiluted white distilled vinegar into a spray bottle. Vinegar is great at getting rid of mold/mildew, it isn't toxic like bleach (particularly if you will use the stroller for a baby) and it also eliminates the bad odor. Spray the vinegar onto the affected areas. Let it sit for several hours, ideally outside in the sun. Use warm, sudsy water to wash it. Rinse it and let it dry in a clean, dry place.

Mildew

Pre-treat as soon as possible with detergent. Wash. If any stain remains, sponge with lemon juice and salt. Dry in sun. Wash, using hottest water, detergent and bleach safe for fabric. NOTE: Mildew is very hard to remove; treat promptly

You can also use White Vinegar, pour some vinegar on mold stain wait for a hour then scrub with an old toothbrush then launder without detergent in one cup of White Vinegar

Good Luck !
Mould is almost impossible to remove.. if the shirt is not too coloured, mix a very weak solution of water and mould remover (shower sprays) and soak the shirt in it until you see the mould disappearing.. this could take up to 24 hours. If the solution is too strong it will also take colour out so beware. Rinse REALLY well and launder as usual, then hang outside to airdry. Vinegar etc hardly ever works for mould.
Good luck.
Well the best way I have found is this. First put the clothing outside in the sun, the sun kills off mildew and mold. Leave it outside for a few hrs. Then add lemon juice to the stain, again back to the sun and leave to dry in. Now wash in cold water, Use the good old fashioned soap bar for this ( Natural Soap), Rub in the soap. leaving the soap on and free from the water. Say 1/2 hr should be enough. Now back to the cold water, give a rub to the stained area. Now add more soap, leave the soap on and pop into your machine on a 40Âșc normal wash. Then back to the sun. Any remaining stains will be bleached out the natural way , by the sun
