How do I clean dried candle wax out of carpet?

Simple.
1) Get your iron hot and ready.
2)Place an old towel (it will get ruined) over the candle wax. Run the hot iron over the towel (over the wax) slowly. The wax will melt and be absorbed by the towel.

This happened to me and what I ended up doing really worked. Take paper bags, has to be paper, get your iron and put it on a medium to high temp. Now put the paper bag over the canlde wax, take the iron and move it over the bag. You will see the bag start to absorb the wax! Keep changing the bag and just keep repeating. You won't believe how this works. The heat of the iron warms the wax, and the paper absorbs it all. I had a WHOLE candle melt down and drip on to my carpet, red candle on yellow carpet. about had a heart attack. Tried this trick and it worked.Let me know how you make out!
I've had luck by laying a paper towel over the wax. Take a blow dryer and blow hot air on the towel. The heat will melt the wax and the towel will absorb it. Clean with a solvent cleaner (like De-Solv-It) if a spot remains.
