My duvet cover is like card , how do i peel it off my bed to give it its annual wash ?

i find that using a shovel helps loosen the corners then a hefty tug and bobs your uncle!

lol snap it from the corners
drag your bed outside into the rain then lever your covers off when they get a bit looser. You can always try WD40.
Oh this is easy. First turn the heating up high. Invite your favourite romping partner to join you for a huge session on top of the duvet. The heat and activity will loosen it up just enough for you to fold it without it cracking and get it in to the machine before it sets again.

PS, Make sure you remove all old slices of Pizza and curry takeaways before folding as they can make the colour run somewhat.
Annual wash?? may as well buy a new duvet and duvet cover...

actually, buy TWO (shocker) duvet covers, some fabric softener and then change the cover weekly :-)

In all seriousness, I was going to throw mine out as despite regular washng it felt cardboard-y and yuk... then finally got my own washing machine that takes fabric softener and I love the feel now of it:-)
Oooooh Gross!

I think at this point it's disposable and you should just buy another one. And for the future...hire a maid.

Good luck with that.
You dirty, dirty man!
buy a new bed and duvet...phone your local council and get them to exterminate the old ones.
Watch out you will be accused of possessing weapons of mass destruction.
You mean you haven't house trained it , to jump in the washer when you whistle, like I do with hubbys socks
It's best to start afresh, just break it off in bits, burn it and buy a new one.
Sounds like it needs banging with a hammer then feeding to the crows, greedy b*ggers will eat anything! Then while you are out shopping with all your admirers choose a new one, unless of course you want to add that to the list chores for her indoors!
Not sure if you joking, but that is sooooooo disgusting.
Buy a new one stinky!!
:-)
