What is the best thing to use to clean ur computer screen - and avoid streaks on screen?

Question:

Answers:
Depends on the type of computer screen:

If it is LCD---they have cleaning kits for LCD screens at places such as walmart or target (DO NOT USE WINDEX it says when you buy the monitor not to use regular glass cleaner) Also, for this type of monitor you want to make sure it is turned off before you begin cleaning. And only spray LIGHTLY--don't go overboard...actually you should spray on the cloth that comes in the kit and then wipe...don't spray directly on the monitor.

If it is a CRT (the old kind of monitors)--any glass cleaner or a mixture of 50 percent alcohol and 50 percent water in a spray bottle.

dilluted Windex and use a piece of newspaper to wipe it rather than a piece of paper towel. Hope it's what you were looking for!
Use the Lens Cleaner that they have for glasses.. IT cleans It better than windex, trust me, cuz i use it.
Get a professional spray make for electronics. I use Endust for Electronics. I'm sure if you go to a computer store, they can help you.
Put a few drops of dawn on a wet soft cloth ring it out and clean the screen, wash off the dawn and dry with a few coffee filters i.e., no lent.
I always use a damp cotton ball. It works great!
