I have white marks on my black denim jeans?
Question:they have been worn once and washed twice, but they now have theses irritating white streaks in them,is there a way to get rid of these
Answers:
The only way that I have found to correct this is to color it in with a black pen or permanent marker. There are probably better ways out there.but this has worked for me. You do have to do touch-ups periodically!
You can purchase detergent for a black wash it might help Jeans should always be turned inside out when washing.
you should of washed them inside out.Dark jeans will always do that. You cant get them out either.Buy a new pair and don't make the same mistake again!
My wife had the same problem and no matter what we couldnt remove the marks, try using Dylon, its brilliant. She purchased some from John Lewis, you put it in the machine with the jeans, make sure you follow the instructions carefully as it will dye other things in the drum as well. Hang them to dry by smoothing out the creases and then next time you wash them turn them inside out and wash as normal. You could even try ironing them inside out whils slightly damp for a better finish.
Always wash black jeans turned inside out and use liquid laundry detergent.
As for the streaks, put the jeans in the washer (right side out) and turn it on a short cycle. Do not add detergent, as the streaks may very well be detergent that didn't rinse out before. After the cycle has finished take the jeans out and turn them inside out and put them back in the washer and wash with warm or cold water (adding detergent this time). Dry them inside out as well. This has worked for me, hope it works for you!
put black dylon in with dem! dylon is great has range colours im always dying stuff with it! best of luck!
try colouring it in with black pen- if that doesn't work then try dyeing them black=k again.
