clean it with rubbing alcohol and a dry cloth. you'll have to soak it up several times but it will take it all out. I had a pen completely bust in my favorite pair of jeans and it all cam out with alcohol and rinsing and a dry cloth.
If you haven't washed the item yet, get some hair spray and spray it on and rub it in and let it for a little bit and then let is soak in hot water/oxy clean and then wash.
use a clean cloth and isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. wet the cloth with the ink marks with the alcohol and rub gently with the clean cloth.
put hairspray on it,then let it soak.then wash it and if it's still not out then put some of your landry soap directly on it...then wash it...good luck

Usually spot treating it, soaking it, and then putting it in the wash is fine for ball-point pen. Spot treating means using a stain remover, or rubbing in your ordinary detergent on the spot with some water.
If it is a really strong and nasty stain, turn the fabric inside out. Dab some methelyated spirits onto a clean cloth or paper towel, and then carefully dab onto the stain.
BUT.on the underside of the cloth, where the stain is put a paper towel. As you dab the stain with the metheylated spirits, the stain should come off onto the paper.
BUT.if your item of clothing is highly coloured...you might run the risk of discolouring the rest of the cloth. You could test the meth on corner of the cloth first.

I have used OxyClean (liquid - in the squirt bottle) many times for ballpoint pen marks and it always works. Squirt and rub in, let sit for about 15 minutes, and then wash like normal for the fabric involved.
Check to make sure the stain is out before you put it in the dryer though, the heat can set in the stain. If the first treatment did not remove it, repeat the process until it is completely gone. Once it goes in the dryer it's all over with.
tide to go is pretty good, if you have fantastik thats awesome too. wash it if it doesn't come out then soak it in water for a couple of hours.
I had tried all the above methods but my ball point mark was very adament.
So I did some aplique work on that.
