Help with a stain?
Question:I got a stain from a ballpoint pen on my new polyester nike polo. How do I get it out?

people say hairspray works--I dunno which type of hairspray tho
if you get some OXICLEAN spray and put it on immediately, let it sit that should work. I had a stain that was even set from the dryer and it came out.
The cleaners will do it for you.
Put a folded up piece of paper towel behind the spot, inside the shirt, so it won't bleed through to the rest of the shirt, then spray hair spray on it. Don't be afraid to spray a lot on it. Once it looks as though it has come out, wash it in the washer with cool water & detergent. If the stain is still there, use more hair spray & rewash. Do not dry the shirt in a dryer until the stain is gone.
Washables:
Put glycerin (a thicksolvent, avaliable at drugstores) on the spot, then treat with detergent such as Woolite and very little water. Gently rub to form suds and rinse.
Plain old rubbing alcohol takes out ball point pen marks really well.
try Goo-gone it really is the best stain remover. pick it up at your hardware store or Home Depot. Good luck
