How do i clean this...?
Question:my uncle had layed his head on my suede sofa and he got a big hair grease stain on it. i don't want to jump and clean it with something that might ruin the texture of the sofa. so do any one have any idea how to clean it.

Suede is very difficult to clean with any sort of wet cleaner. Because the surface is open it absorbs everything that touches it which is what has happened to the grease. Anything wet will just draw the grease in deeper.
Use a nubuck cloth together with a napping brush to restore the texture but I doubt that this will remove all the grease, it may dissipate over time.
Also follow with a suede protector (waterstop) which will help with furture cleaning and spillage problems.

You can spot clean suede by carefully rubbing the soiled area with an artist´s eraser. A stain on suede that won´t brush or wipe off should be treated by a professional suede cleaner as quickly as possible. Though you can try cleaning it yourself with a suede-cleaning product, you may end up doing more harm than good. I would suggest you pop into your nearest furniture shop & ask for their advise. Suede is a hard material to clean, You can buy special cleaning pads and brushes for suede , rather than take our advise ask the professionals
