Clothes wearing rule?
Question:everyone says u can wear
Pants 2 days in a row and shirts one time and then wash it (why)
what are some rules about clothes wearing?
Answers:
Lady Trey rules:
Tops - If sweaty / hot day, or been active wear once.
-If just around office/ home, not hot not doing much upto 3 times (just smell it first)
Pants - Same as tops... As long as your underwear is cleaned every day
Undies - Wear one day, or if at gym and not showering change before leaving.
Bras - 2 days if not sweaty
Socks- One wear use. The most parisites you can contract come through your feet (strange but true fact)
Jumpers- around 5 times (usualy have top underneath)
Shoes - never wear same shoes 2 days in a row (Can hurt your feet, makes your feet & shoes smell worse and shoes need to breath and air out).
Hope that helps... I also change my sheet every 1-3 days.
My rules:
If it is still clean enough, wear it again.
If it is not, then wash it.
These are my own rules here: it depends on how clean it is, how wrinkled it is, and where I am wearing it to.
I never wear my work pants more than one time before washing them. The main reason is because I am wearing the pants to work so I want them to look nice and pressed.
I rarely wear my shirts twice either because usually there is deodorant stains left on the inside of the shirt.
My jeans, however, I wear at least twice before washing. They don't need to be washed as often because denim shows stains less due to the twill weave. Also, I don't like to wash them that often to avoid excessive shrinkage.
I don't wash my jeans until they get stained! No one knows, it's not like they smell or anything!
As for shirts, I wash them after every wear, occassionally after 2 wears, if I didn't sweat in them and there aren't any stains.
If you're talking about wearing it in school, I'd say no one really pays attention to the pants. I've worn mine two days in a row and no one's ever commented on it. And shirts- you're better off wearing a shirt one day, and then waiting a few weeks before wearing it again. It's just how everyone is, if you wear it in the same week, or the next week (if it's a really striking shirt that people will remember- they will) people will be like "EW YOU JUST WORE THAT SHIRT YESTERDAY" even though you didn't? idk i hate school YAY =]
my rule is when i can tell my jeans are dirty, wash them (usually like after 3-4 wears) and for shirts it depends on how dirty it is. no one will ever know if u havent washed it for 3 years as long as it looks (and smells) clean
Missmousers rules:
Shirts--only once, they usually have deodorant stains or at least some sweat in them.
Underwear--only once
Bras--2 or 3 days as long as they don't get sweaty
Jeans--probably 3 or 4 times as long as you can't tell they are dirty...(if I am just staying home or going to the grocery store they don't get that dirty.)
Pajamas--I usually wear 2 or 3 nights before washing.
Socks--only one day
My husband and 11 yr old son their boxer shorts for 2 days before washing them.
Well, I must be washing my clothes to death.lol.but I never wear anything more than once without washing. The only exceptions are bras (2 or 3 days) and winter coats and sweaters (wash when I can smell them).
If you smoke or you are exposed to smoke or cooking odors I would suggest washing your clothes after wearing them once. If you wear perfume or cologne, it is also absorbed into the fabric and doesn't always smell good on day 2. Remember that you smell yourself 24/7 so you may not notice the odor in your clothes like someone else would.
