How can you take out pen marks and chocolate milk spills out of a white shirt?
Question:PLEASE!
Answers:
bleach?
Get a bucket fill it halfway w/ water. Dump in some cascade and bleach(this makes a chemical reaction) let it sit, check it hourly to see if it's completely gone. Launder by itself or w/ other bleachable items. Don't put into dryer until the stain is completely out, or it will make it set in permanantly.
Go to the nearest Albertson's(if you have any in your area) or other drug store, they have the best spot remover for fabrics- CARBONA-STAIN DEVILS. Small yellow skinny bottles, made in Germany. They are for different stains, just choose the right one. I was able to remove all possible stains from my kids clothes, even crayons, paint, pen and more, good luck!
pre-treat the stain with either oxy or spray and wash stain stick. I like the stick because you can put it on stains, throw it in the laundry, and then wash normally. It works for most stains. You can use hairspray to get out ink stains, it works, spray with hairspray, brush stain with a toothbrush, you may need several coats, don't let the hairspray dry, and rinse out, wash normally! If all else fails I use RIT whitener and brightener on my clothes to get out tough stains or to make dingy clothes bright or white again! I get this stuff from my grocery store in the laundry aisle! It works miracles- I don't think it has ever failed me, I like to whiten all my socks once a month with it! The cascade trick mentioned above works because cascade has bleach in it. You can throw cascade in your washer with the detergent and just wash normally. Cold water gets stains out better than hot water for stain removal and yes, the dryer does set stains so don't dry the shirt in the dryer until the stain is out.
If all else fails, return the shirt, apologize, and offer money to replace it. Good Luck!
