Anybody used rainbow vacuum before?

Question:I just saw a demo from a rainbow salesman. Saw how the vacuum really sucked out dust, dustmites and even small cockroaches from my mattress and sofas. The vacuum can even mop and clean your aircon and so on.. The salesman told me the machine is the 5th edition of rainbow which is released in 2006 October.

Product is definitely good, however is it really worth the investment?

However, i'm still deciding to buy it or not as I want to research on the product first. I put a $50 deposit and asked the salesman to get back to me in 3days time.

Anyone used the rainbow before and do you think its worth the investment?

The catch is i can trade in my old vacuum for $300 eventhough i bought the vacuum for only $140 dollars and they are throwing in an "Energy-Saver" that is ISO and PSB certified to reduce your electrical bill by 30%. The rainbow vacuum is also fully refundable if i'm not certified with the product itself.

Can anyone advice me on it ASAP? Thanks!

Yes I have a rainbow. Its an older modle. Got it in 03. It is absolutly the best vacum I have ever seen. My daughter has bad allergies and having this thing is a blessing. I also have two dogs, and you know with pet dander and sheding it can become a real mess. This thing will pull the fleas out of the rug! I use it almost everyday and couldn't be happier. I tried one of the Dyson vacums and it doesnt come close.

I won't tell you not to buy it, Rainbows are actually very excellent vacuums. What they don't tell you, is that when you purchase the system you don't actually get everything. You will have to purchase certain things seperately. Its definately worth the money if you have someone with allergies in your home, but so is a Hyla Vac. They are pretty compairable in price, but I own a Hyla and I would have to say I am far more impressed with it than any Rainbow I've ever seen.
If its the one that has water in it keep in mind u have to empty it after each use or it will stink BAD there have been a few law suits something to do with electric an water other than that they r great
I used one but it was many years ago. I wasn't impressed. I did not like the fact that I had to change the water after each use, such a hassle and I always seemed to spill some water, so that created a new mess to clean up. I didn't think that it cleaned any better than my old upright with bags. As far as energy savings, a vacuum really doesn't use much electricity and you don't run it 24 hours a day. I don't see how a vacuum can reduce your monthly electric bill by 30%. A new refrigerator, yes, a vacuum, no.
Hi, well I havn't done a whole lot of research on wet/dry vacuums but i have on dry vacuums and if you decide on a dry vacuum i highly recommend a SEBO - hygienic dirt disposal, power brush, 99.9% filtration and those attachments you mentioned you wanted to do your bedding with are all on the machine. I get my carpets professionally cleaned once a year and just maintain them with my SEBO X4 vacuum. It's worked now for 10yrs and my carpets are great.
