I have a Son that loves to play Football and every time he comes up with grass stains....The best solution for this is TIDE Liquid Detergent. Dab Tide on the grass stain and let it set for a minute or so and then just wash. If the stain doesn't come out the first time repeat until..NEVER dry the jeans with the stain. It makes it much harder to tackle.I use TIDE on every stain i come across. Forget all those spray and washes and ect. TIDE is the best.

spray on some shout and let it soak for a while . then toss in washer and wash as usual

Try a product called spray N Wash, or Shout Out.
I pre-treat it with good old fashioned dawn dish soap. It has worked well for me. :)
