Getting A Blood Stain Out??
Question:I got a few blood stains on a cream colored shirt. I can't bleach it, obviously. So, what's the best method to get them out. It's my sister's shirt and it was pretty expensive. How can I get it to look as good as new?
Answers:
SOAK IT IN COLD WATER, IT WILL RELEASE THE STAIN, USE A BIT OF SOAP AND LIGHTLY SCRUB THE SPOT TILL IT IS OUT, DO NOT DRY IT IN HEAT UNTIL THE SPOT IS OUT, IF YOU DO IT WILL SET THE BLOOD STAIN AND THEN IT WONT EVER COME OUT
do it by hand
hydrogen Peroxide
use peroxide and cold water.
try rubbing alcohol, or try hairspray, it works for markers and ink pens.
Use some "Shout" and then wash it, after it sits for awhile. (Read the washing instructions on the tag.) Don't dry it, unless you are sure the stains are gone, and if not, repeat the Shout process.
>>Don't use peroxide, it could bleach it too.
Good Luck!!
Moisten the stain , then sprinkle meat-tenderizer on it - let it sit a few minutes after you rub it in ; then wash as usual .
If you need to repeat the process once more , do all the steps again , before drying the shirt .
COLD COLD water... rinse it really well...
you didnt wash it through yet right??
rinse it and lightly rub it and then use a stain remover and keep rinsing.. with COLD water
then wash it in cold water
peroxide works every time...no matter how old the stain is
Buy a bottle of Folex at your supermarket.
It's biodegradeable, non toxic etc. and it will take blood out of everything.
I use it all the time. It will begin disappearing before your eyes. Allow it to soak 1 minute before blotting or rinsing.
And the stuff is cheap! It's in the house cleaning isle near rug cleaners.
If it doesn't take it all out the first time, do it again but let it soak a little longer.
Use coca cola! Soak it in a sponge and rub it into the stain.
Soak it in peroxide for a half an hour, then use a clean scrub brush to brush out the stain, and then wash it in the laundry as you regularly would.
This works for me every time. Soak it in a large amount of hydrogen perioxide overnight. Also works for getting out red wine.
Peroxide, that always does the trick! and it doesn't change the color. Pour a little on the stain and wait for it to foam and take a small brush and go over it lightly, and it's gone! Although you may have to repeat the process if it's been in there for a while.
Peroxide will bubble it right out.
If you haven't washed it already use soda water. It will take grass stains out as well.
use saline solution! (the stuff used for contacts...) it sounds kinda crazy, but it works REALLY well. i used this when i had to try to remove stains for a project in a clothing class, i even set the stain in the dryer and it still got it out...just let it soak for like, 10 minutes...
