How do use bleach on your laundry?

Question:I have never used bleach before. My whites are not so white anymore. Can you use bleach on a white shirt that has a picture on it, or do it have to be completely white?

Answers:
yes you can use bleach on a shirt with a picture on it. i use it on my white socks, shirts (not always all white), just follow the directions and dont pour it directly on your clothing, pour it into the water and let it mix up then add your clothes and laundry soap. good luck

If the shirt is cotton or partially cotton, use oxygen bleach, like Clorox 2.
You won't know if chlorine will fade the colors until it's too late.
Depends on the type of picture on the shirt, the bleach may fade the color of the picture.

I use bleach on all of my whites. You either add it to the washer after the water has filled up, or you use the cups on the washer if you have a front loader.

If you are worried about it you can also buy a product called laundry blueing. Look for it with the fabric dyes. That will take care of the problem if your whites are looking yellow.
I don´t use bleach, I use good old fashioned bar soap ( Natural Soap). For white clothes, also when using this soap I use cold water. My bleach is the sun, The sun keep´s my whites whiter than white, With no extra cost
