What is best way to remove stains from old couch?
Question:My husband and I recieved a gift of a 1970's modern sectional couch- worth thousands then, and we love it. It will cost over $5000 to recover, so we want to try to get the stains out. It was a light neutral/whitish color with orange seam, but has turned very dark in spots. The cushon covers zip and come off, My MIL tried washing/bleaching and said she tried everything to get the stains out but couldnt. Im still willing to try if anyone has any suggestions! The wose case is that we ruin the couch more, and just buy a slip cover- which would totally ruin the look of the couch, IMO. Thanks for any tips/advice!

I picked up some stuff at Home Depot called "Resolve" - and it's nothing less than a miracle, it gets ANYTHING out without ruining the fabric. RUN, do not walk to your nearest Home Depot and get this stuff - it's by the vacuum cleaners and such.
