Can I wash this?
Question:How can I clean a plastic mesh scouring pad? I've only had it for about a week, and it smells a little like mildew.

if you have a dishwasher put it in there when you run it next. if not soak it in some hot bleachy water for about 20 mintues
yes, throw it in the wash with whites, add a little bleach, but no dryer!!
Iww throw it out and get a new one.
Put it on the top rack of your dishwasher. Run as usual.
Or, soak in baking soda and water.
Rinse it in a mild bleach and water solution. It will also disinfect the pad.

I would just wash it out with soap. I mean, aren't those things supposed to be a little stinky? Besides, they are so cheap, if it really offends your senses, pitch it and start with a fresh one.
Bleach, duh. You must have some filthy home.
I would just throw it out and get a new one...
