Clothes dryers - Gas vs Electric?
Question:I've always thought that Gas was more efficient to run, but now I've been told that they are very similar? (I was told new electrics are a lot better than they used to be?)
Any experience with these? Thanks for sharing!

It really depends on the utility costs in your area. Here, in comparison, natural gas is expensive, but electricity (which is still subsidized in this area by TVA) is cheap.
I would go with Electric.

Electric dryers is the best. If you don't already have gas then that's another bill you will have to pay each month.
I swear by my gas dryer. My gas bill is not high at all, and my dryer is done BEFORE the washer is done with the next load. At my last place, I had a much newer electric dryer, and I used to have to run it through two cyles, on high, to get clothes dry. I'm never going back. No more full days of laundry.
