My shower curtain gets mold even when i buy ones that say mold free. which brands are really mold free?

not sure their is such a thing as "mold free" but as long as you spray it with a shower cleaner every other day or so, it should be okay. you could also pat dry after your shower.couldn't hurt.
Really none. Just spray the shower and curtain with bleach and water mixed in a spray bottle, that will kill mold.
The only thing that seems to work it the daily shower cleaner that you use everytime you shower, I just spray the curtain as I spray the walls and I haven't had any mold problems.
None of them are. You should wash it in your tub once a month. Throw it into your tub, pour a scoop of Tide Laundry detergeant on it and cover with really warm water. The hop in and do a little dance on it. Rinse well and rehang. It gets the soap scum off and that is what breeds the mold.
None of them are. I think your bathroom needs some better ventilation - circulating fresh air which dries them up fast.
All these answers are good but seem to be a lot of work for little return. I buy the cheapo kind at megamart for $1 or$2 and just hang a new one every month or two.
close your curtain when done in the shower so it will dry faster and mold wont have a chance to grow. In my shower i also keep a bottle of water and bleach mixed up to spray it all down when everyone is done. you should just go to a dollar store and buy the cheap curtains to hang behind a nicer one and save yourself some money...i did this in my last house and saved myself having to scrub. if it got too gunky i just threw it out and put a new one in. i hope i have helped.
you're supposed to close ur curtain after you're done showering.. i dont think u do that otherwise u wouldn't have a prb..
DO you?
