Why is the Laundry sign in Laundromats always upside down?

Question:there is always one sign right side up and the other upside down!

I've never seen on upside down.

By mistake. A sign installer working for the Kwik Wash in Austin Texas accidently put the sign upside down. It drew attention therefore they kept it that way.
