How do you dry a very thick foam/ mattress?

Question:I found the foam/ mattress damp and really smelly. Since it was already a little wet, I decided to wash it to remove the bad smell. My problem now is that it won't dry up. It's been a week and the inner part is still wet.

Answers:
Stand it upright in a well vented location outside. The airflow through it will dry the core. After a day, rotate it 180 degrees.

If it was me I would get a fan turn it on high. If you have two fans put one on each side. Open the windows get your ac on too that will help. I clean offices and houses and I know how it is to get carpet and furniture dry after cleaning. Stand the foam mattress up on end.
If you live in an area that has high temps, you could put it outside to dry. Try putting it on lawn chairs or something to keep it off the ground. Foam is slow to dry, especially in an air conditioned home.
