How can I get the crusty crud off of my dish-washed dishes?
Question:I have tried less soap, a drying agent, hot dry, cool dry, no soap.. I have resorted to hand washing dishes to avoid the sandpaper surface and icky taste. Anyone know a good preferably eco-friendly dishwasher soap for cleaning with California water?

I started using those little gel packs from Cascade... you know it's got the detergent and jet dry in one.
My dishes were niiiice and it got off some of the hard water stains.
Give it a try... worst case is it doesn't work.
Take it EZ!
Try the Mr. Clean magic erasers to remove it.
