OMG!!! When I opened a container of yogurt, the yogurt splattered onto my suit, wet papertowel didn't work?
Question:got a better suggestion? (at work)
so don't tell me to soak it or wash it
Answers:
They wont let you in the Outpost with yogurt on your suit. Better go home and sit in traffic and change.
If you're wearing a jacket with a decent shirt underneath, take the jacket off. If you're not wearing a jacket but have one at work or in your car with you, put it on to cover up the stain. Or ask to borrow someone else's jacket for the day.
You need to use some soap. Go in the bathroom and use the hand soap. Not very much. Just enough to help lift the yogurt out of your suit.
lick it off then use a wett paper towel,it sounds silly but really works
Cover the yogurt stain with an ink blot. Yogurt problem solved.
On a serious note, if you can leave work, buy a stain remover pen at a local drug/grocery store. I think Clorox makes one.
Sorry, no suggestions are going to help you at work... While it's still fresh, get out as much as you can with cold water, then when you get home, do the following:
Stain Removal Step 1
Treat stains as soon as possible for the best results. Put the stained fabric into cold water for 5-10 minutes.
Stain Removal Step 2
If the stain remains, rub detergent into the stained area and soak in room temperature water for 1/2 an hour. Rub the stain every 3-5 minutes.
Stain Removal Step 3
Add a stain remover stick, gel, or spray to the stained area, and allow to sit for 7-10 minutes.
Stain Removal Step 4
Repeat as needed until no stain remains.
You've done the only thing you can (though I would never have used a papertowel). Unless you can go home and change, you are stuck. Be sure to take the suit to the dry cleaners
Try club soda.
cover the entire suit with yogurt that way no one will notice the stain
