What would you buy a black grill or stainless grill?
Question:I want a stainless gas grill but I am worried about it looking dirty all the time.
Answers:
I've owned both and would opt for stainless. Every black grill I've ever owned faded and started to look tacky even though I keep them covered when not in use. I use the Zep stainless steel cleaner from the home depot on all of my stainless, including the grill. It resists fingerprints, leaves a residue that resists staining and gets off even burnt on food particles, so my stainless grill always looks clean and new.
Stainless
STAINLESS GRILL
They are both good.
You just need to make sure that with the black grill, the grates are not "coated" otherwise you will soon have black chips from the grates pealing off onto your food.
I just bought a stainless steel grill and it is kinda hard to cleap clean, but I love it. Just be careful using stainless steel grill cleaner becase it will also take off the paint on the dials and side burners and stuff; Once a week, I use a pail of soapy water and wipe it down, and then hose it off. Seems to work great.
stainless
Here's the thing.
Of course the stainless grill looks better but you have to make sure and put the cover on it after every use. If you don't, it'll just get rusty in the first season and look like cr_p. The black kind take a bit longer to rust since they have a finish on them so - if you can be disciplined enough to cover it after every use then go with the stainless - if not go with the black.
Stainless all the way. If you clean it it won't stain and the black ones the paint will peel and bubble and rust eventually and look oooooglie!
Pending where you live. If you are near the water it will pit from the salt air so I would get black. Stainless looks nice but, expensive. Regardless you would need to cover the grill and have a place to store if you live in a place where winter is harsh. I would check out Weber grills as they seam to be good and last. They come in black and stainless.
Hi, Get the Stainless Steel. The Black one is Porcelain Coated, and if you chip it, or drop it, or hit something against it , it will chip and continue to chip, chip, chip. Than it starts to rust. The chips off of it are just like glass chipping off, Now what was your question? I hope I influenced you into the S.S. Grate. Bye By the way, Stainless Steel does not Rust! It does ,however change color when heated, but that won't change the durability.
I would get a stainless 1
