Does anyone know anything about where bed bugs come from and how can i get rid of them ?


Question:i change my sheets every week and i vacuum a lot the only thing i don't do is pull my bed that often to vacuum behind it,i do it only once every 9 month to a year do you think that is the problem please help.i have a baby that sleeps in the same room i dont want him to get anything from them!

But, basically your baby shouldn't catch anything, that's rare. But, the bugs do bite and you get an itchy spot...Hope this website helps!


A bed bug infestation comes from bringing them home from somewhere either in your clothing or in a suitcase. If you go to a hotel that has them, you can bring them home in your luggage. Bed bugs don't just "come in" from outside and infest your house.

To get rid of them, you will need to have your mattress treated by a pest control company or have the room fogged.

You do need to vacuum the mattress, especially around the cording on the edge, and around the mattress, including the baseboards (they love to live in the cracks of baseboards and come out at night).
