How do i get pet hair off the carpet?

you can try using a strong bristle brush that you would actually scrub a floor with and you can even get them on a stick. or you could use a shop broom if you want to do wider areas at the same time but you sprinkle arm n hammer baking soda on the floor with pet hair releaser. then brush the floor (carpet) in only one direction after you finish with one line then take your hand and pull off the hair. then do another row after the floor is completed with this process then you can take a vaccum and get the rest up. the brush or broom loosens the hair that it dosent pick up from the carpet fibers and then you can vaccum the rest up.
Vacuum!
TRY STRIPS OF TAPE GOOD LUCK
Vacum Vacuum Vacuum If not try lint brush or duct tape especially on furniture
the one and only highly over-rated Rainbow vacuum will do the trick
Obviously, you need to vacuum, but the hair collects on the perimeter of the carpet. In order to get this hair I have to get on my hands and knees and use an upholstery brush and vacuum it by hand. Also, I get my carpets cleaned professionally and they seem to be able to clean the perimeter with their equipment. The Dyson vacuum is touted as the best vacuum for dog hair if you can afford it. I see them being sold used and cheaper on CraigsList.
Get a KIRBY! I have a German Shepherd (King of HAIR! lol) works like a charm...you don't have a quality vaccum. Good luck!
You can use a rubber glove if the area is small, otherwise use a clean, wet sponge mop to sweep the hair into clumps that you can pick up and throw away. Allow to dry completely, then sprinkle baking soda over the carpet to loosen whatever's left and deodorize, and vacuum.
We had the same problem, we ended up going vaccum shopping for a better vaccum, we bought a hepa vaccum and it does wonders. Other than that i don't have any other advice.. Hepa vaccums do wonders, i wouldnt change them for anything!
