Removing odor from stinky shoes - has anyone ever used clorox wipes to remove odors?

Question:

Answers:
Forget Clorox. Use Baking soda. Let it sit in the shoes for 2-3 days, then dump out. Put some more in, then use them. Works great! Regards-Bob.

I dont think wipes would remove odor, get a plastic bag put shoes in it and add alot of baking soda and let sit overnite, shake out in the morning. If this works for the cat box itll prolly work for your shoes. GL
no never tryed clorox wipes for shoe order, but putting boric acid in your shoes will kill the odor.
try doctor schools ODOR EATERS they fit inside your shoes buy them all most anywhere not sure if I spelled it right maybe Dr. shoals odor eaters . They do work .
Chuck em...and buy New !!
Soak the shoes in soap and water. Let them dry thoroughly. Then put baking soda or corn starch in the shoes.

If you have a front loading washer, shoes wash nicely in these types of washers.

If they are dress shoes, don't wash them as recommended above, just put some baking soda in them
Often the stink in your shoes is the sweat and germs that are in the padding of the shoe. Clorox wipes are more of a surface cleaner, not meant to penetrate and deep clean. Odor Destroyers is a great spray you can get over the counter, it leaves your shoes smelling fresh, even better than odor eaters. I highly recommend it. Just spray the inside of your shoes well and they will do the rest. I use it often on my sons athletic shoes, especially those for football. It also worked great on his weightlifting gloves which were especially stinky!
It sounds crazy but put the shoes in the freezer for 24 hours. It kills the germs that are making the smell.
i know this sounds crazy...i have had 3 teenage boys and lots of smelly cleats and sneakers,i tie them in a plastic bag and put them in the freezer for 2 days, the smell disappears,my guess is that the freezer kills the bacteria causing the smells, whatever it is it works 100% of the time on any shoe
The only thing that I have found that works are Odor Eaters shoe inserts.
sprinkle baby powder in them and put them outside to air overnight. this works great.
