Sock fluff on my feet! How do I get rid of it??

Question:Every time I take my socks off, my feet are covered in loads of sock fluff & it gets all over the carpet & chairs. I cant seem to get rid of it & its not just the new ones.
Do you get this? How do I get rid of it? Is there a certain way to wash them so that this doesnt happen?

Answers:
It seems the consensus here is to wash it inside out, hehe ... I've not had that problem for a long time. I would assume it has much to do with the material of socks you use - must be very soft cotton, I guess, and thick socks. After a certain amount of washes, those fluffs oughta go away.

Wash them inside out?
wash them inside out and use fabric softer
Yes I get that too. Not sure yet how to solve the problem. Maybe some of those little balls that you put in the drier, will knock that stuff off. I dunno yet. Bye
My only suggestion would be to stop wearing socks. I knew there was a reason I didn't like them!
easy wash them inside out
