I bought a wheelchair from a smoker. It stinks to high heaven! How can I get the odor off of it?

Can you bleach it?
Try washing it with a solution of white vinegar and water... about half and half then let air dry... that should do the trick! (seriously)
steam clean it.
take it outside and slather it with hot soapy water give it a good wash with a thick sponge then spray it off with the hose. let it dry, spray with febreez & oil all the moving parts
bleach and water and let it sit in the sun to dry. do this two times and it will be good. the use the fresh scent of frebreeze.
Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide! I clean my house with the two always. I also use tide and baking soda for everything. good luck. Oh yeah you can use vinegar with them mixtures.
