Hand wash with lukewarm water in a mild, liquid detergent. Never wring or squeeze the sweater to remove excess water. You may place the sweater in the washing machine's spin cycle just long enough to remove excess water. Then lay it flat to dry. Do not hang your sweaters. This will pull the garment out of shape.

Dry clean only when the sweater is stained with wine, grease and other stains that are tough to remove.


I didn't think you could wash cashmere because it will shrink.

My advice - Tide wipes. But don't wash! I'm pretty sure it will ruin the fabric!
Cashmere should be hand washed in soap suds. Never a detergent. Get a fabric softener or something similar.Stains may come out gradually.Being a natural fibre, it may take a few washings to see results.
