Answers:
Use hairspray of any kinds, it works very good!
I would use the hairspray, over and over until the ink has loosened up, then a detergent soap to remove residue.
rubbing alcohol should take it out... cold water will take out food stains (just for future referenece)
at fred meyers in the detergent section theres these stain removers in yellow bottles and they have labels for all different things
like milk and blood
coffee and chocolate
look for the ink one
:]
I have gotten pen ink out of a shirt by spraying hairspray on it right away, letting it set for less than an hour, then washing it, and it did the trick. Good luck.
Go buy the cheapest hairspray you can find! It really does work!
My father in law worked in a grocery store and had to wear white shirts. He was always getting ball point ink on his shirt. They always used Aqua Net hairspray on it to pretreat. It desolves the ink out.
You also might check out a product called Awesome at Dollar Tree. It's suppose to remove just about everything.
I don't know about alcohol, but dish soap works pretty well and so does oxi-clean. I've used both and will again. When using oxi-clean you should leave it on the shirt over night in a pretty concentrated application and when using dish soap just apply it directly to the spot and rub with a little water until the spot comes out.
use Oxiclean
hairspray lestoil.but the best thing I have ever used, is M30, avaliable at Dollar General! Dude! This stuff to a year old tea stain out of a carpet! It's a $1!!!Yeah!
Put a paper towel on the top side of the shirt/stain, turn it over so the paper towel is now on the flat surface with the shirt on top. Use aerosol hair spray. Spray the back side of the ink stain, using your fingers to press the shirt against the paper towel. The hair spray should force the ink out and onto the paper towel. Use plenty of hair spray, change the paper towels as needed, when the stain is gone, launder the shirt in the usual manner.
