Help! I just spilled black tea on my pants! How can I get the stain out?

Question:Will it come out in the wash, and if not, is there anything that will get it out? They are not inexpensive pants.

Answers:
soak them in cold water (and don't put them in the dryer or that will set the stain)...and remove with some products you could buy at the grocery store (stain removers...read the labels). Tide has a new one out but I haven't tried it yet...try it on a piece of material on the (inside seam) to see if it will remove the color from your slacks, if not then it's safe to use on the stain.

Remember that it depends on what your slacks are made of if the color will come out or not. Also remember that women in ancient times used to use tea to color their hair permanently.

Put them in to soak in clean water for an hour so so and gently hand wash.
