What is the best way to remove permanent ink from clothes?
Question:My son had forgotten about a pen in his pants pocket when he washed his clothes, and found a mess in the laundry after he removed the clothes from the dryer. Luckily he had most of his uniforms inside-out so most of the stains are inside.help!
Answers:
Try aerosol hair spray. Spray till it is soaked and wash immediately. Works on ball point pen. Might work. Must be aerosol. good luck!
If it's a ball point pen:
Apply hairspray liberally to stain. Rub with a clean, dry cloth and the ink usually disappears. It works really well on polyester fabrics.
OR: try rubbing alcohol on the spot before laundering
rubbing alcohol or hairspray
try Goo-gone it works wonders with any kind of stain, you could get it at any hardware store or even Home Depot. good luck
