How do i get rid of weevles?
Question:

Ok.weevils will appear in your flour and meal eventually if you don't use it fast enough. The eggs are IN the flour and meal when you purchase it. That's just the way it is. You CAN store these two products in the freezer and that will prevent the weevils from hatching. Now, bear in mind that weevils and pantry moths are NOT the same. Pantry moths will hatch into little white 3/4 inch long worms that will eventually become moths. These will lay eggs and more will hatch. The only way to prevent the pantry moths is to get rid of anything old, that might have these moths in them. That is also what you need to do with the weevil infested products. The moths are a bit more difficult to control and I would suggest storing things that are not sealed in plastic in zip loc bags to prevent pantry moths from laying eggs.
As for the weevils, throw out what you have that has them in it and remember, they're going to be present (if only in egg-form) in all meal and flour. Just store them in the freezer when you purchase them and you'll be ok. GOOD LUCK!!
Do you mean weavles as in the mites that get in your flour and food stuff in your cupboards? If so the only way is to get rid of everything in your cupboard and bleach it down.If you have them in your flour and stuff you will have to throw them away. You normally get them when something has been in your cupboard for a long time. The only real solution is to give everything a good clean and re stock up on everything. Also use an antibacterial spray after you have bleched everything.
Are you sure you dont mean silverfish. They like damp areas so keep everything dry and dont leave damp towels on the floor.
You'll have to throw out anything that is already infested with weevils. Weevils are laid by those little moths you will see flying about in your cupboard. You can buy moth traps - try your local hardware or grocery store. These evil weevils can get into the tiniest crack or space, so make sure you tighten all jars etc. Don't leave rice, flour etc in cardboard/paper/plastic packets, put them into lidded containers. I use whole bay leaves (the dried herb) taped to the underside of my jar lids and I have had no problems at all since I did this.
When I buy grain products like flour or cornmeal I put them in the freezer for at least 24 hours. The cold will kill them. Then I store them in an airtight container in the cupboard.
I have birds in my house - in cages - and I also put the bags of seed in the freezer. No moths in my cupboards!
