Easy Off Oven Cleaner is specifically made to remove baked on oven grime. Spray it on, wait for the period of time specified in the instructions, and wipe it off. You may have to do this 2 or more times to get it all. Be sure to wear rubber gloves when you wipe it off.
This is the Best way. Get a average bowl, fill it with straight ammonia, and set it inside the oven overnight. That's it! Next day,wipe out with a wet sponge.The grease and grime will be soft and be able to just wipe it away!
I cleaned for the military when the families moved out of housing and I have cleaned many, many, many stoves in my live. I use Bar Keepers Friend and if the grime won't come off with that I use a straight edged razor. I'm just carefull not to scratch the oven. Good luck.
