It's easy, just pour in one cup of White Vinegar to the wash water without soap or detergent, and put on a full cycle, don't use any fabric softners as Vinegar will soften and remove mildew and it's odors and will remove the detergent residues that have built up in your towels and they will be nice and fluffy and soft again and odor free and vinegar cost less than fabric softners, it will also lessen static cling on your clothes you can also add your clothes to this vinegar with your towels and wash them in it as well, everything will come out clean and soft and will remove stains also. Also use the hottest water your clothes and towels can handle when doing this treatment. Good Luck !

get new 1s...seriously i dont think it would be best if u put it in the WASHER and the dry it again
Wash them again
wash them again
You have to rewash them and I would use hot or warm water to do it. The stains will never leave. Hope this helps!
Get some really good smelling detergent, and some febreeze for your laundry, rewash them, might take more than once, eventually it will go away. My father is a bit forgetful and he'll put laundry in to wash, and forget about it for a couple of days, then it smells awful. I just use the things I said and after a couple more washes it's fine, but use a few dryer sheets, not just one. it'll help too.
rewash them
Rewash them with either hot or warm water and add white vinegar(about 1/2 cup) and baking soda(about 2 tbls.) to your laundry detergent let the washer agitate for about 2 mins. and then let them soak for at least 20 minutes, and then let your washer continue its cycle.
You'll have to wash the towels again and then hang them up to dry. If that doesn't work try spraying them with febreeze.
Use bleach. That is what generations did before they invented the cover up chemicals. Fill the machine, and add 1/4 cup. Let it go through the extra wash cycle.
Vinegar and bicarb soda!!
The combination causes a chemical reaction that removes all smells. Use hot water, your usual detergent with 1 cup bicarb added, then when the wash cycle has nearly finished, add 1 cup vinegar and let it all soak for 20 min before finishing with the rinse cycle. Preferably airdry outside.
It always works. Guaranteed!!
wash them again and put 1 cup of baking soda in with it along with the detergent. That will help deodorize the odor.
Rewash them in hot water.
I hate when i forget laundry in the wash,I only own white towelsso maybe this won't help you, just rewash with hot water and bleach, liquid fabric softener, then when its time to put them in the dryer add a fabric softener sheet.
