LOL
I have no idea but when you get the motivation can you send some to me please because I'm doing exactly the same thing! Really should be doing the washing and hoovering boreing!!
Sorry not possible.
U just gonna have to wallow in the mess and hope someone else will do it for u.
lol reward your self.so say that once you clean the living room you can hang out with friends..always works for me lol
put on some decent music, open all the doors and windows to let the sun in and traet the cleaning as a workout, works for me
you're not alone.I should be doing other things too.But I know this is the maid's day off so I will get to it later.☺
Press Alt + F4 lots of times. Then put on some groovy tunes, and get busy. The faster you finish, the faster you can get back here. ;)
why not crack on some music and sing along to your favourite tunes, thats what i do, in fact i have a load of ironing to do tonight and i am wondering how to motivate myself for that. i just listen to some good music and sing along and think of memories of things and stuff, the time passes quickly and you wont even notice it. the main problem is just actually getting up once you start you are ok.
Set your alarm clock to go off in 15 min´s time . See how much you can achieve in such a short amount off time. trust me you will be surprised. Always work in the 1 room, never take thing´s back to their rightful places till you finish what you are doing. 15 min´s here and there make a big difference. Just remember, when ever you finish the job you are doing reward yourself, So go on set the clock for 15 min´s , then come back and answer a few more Q
some words of wisdom on inner peace so you will stop asking how to be motivated and just be happy
Inner Peace:
I am passing this on to you because it has definitely worked for
me.
By following the simple advice I read in an article, I have finally
found inner peace.
'The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you
started.'
So I looked around the house to see all the things I had started
and hadn't finished.and before leaving the house this morning I finished:
a bottle of red wine, a bottle of white wine, the Bailey's, Kahlua
and Wild Turkey, the Prozac, some Valium, some Cheese Cake and a box
of Chocolates.
You have no Idea how good I feel.
i usually put my favorite music on and clean to that
try inviting friends to your house every now and then especially someone you loved and would like to impress. this will be the best motivation. if this doesn't help then nothing will motivate you.
Don't think about doing it, this will deter you even more. Just get up and do it without actually thinking about the process or jobs. Do it as fast as possible as if it is a race. Put on some music and go go go!!11
Make a list, and give yourself computer time on it, AFTER the chores are done.
The reward system works great.
you can use you computer itself to remind you about it frequently by setting a repeated schedule task-out look express , by this you get a remainder from the screen that u are starring.or else u can tell your self that u should get up in 30 minutes before you sit in front of it
Think of how it will feel when you have cleaned your home this should motivate you, I always think to myself that it is a nice feeling when things are clean and sparkling, and how nice it smells afterwards. Good Luck !
Shut the computer off, get up off the chair and get started. Email, games, yahoo Q + A,, and anything else can wait til the housework is done.
set an annoying alarm tone on your mobile and leave it in the farthest corner of your house to your computer.
When it rings... because you hate the ring tone so much... you will have no choice but to get away from the screen !!
always works for me... to climb out of the bed in the morning
:-)
I always listen to music. Once you find the energy to get started then you should be okay. Once I get started then I'm good to go.
Imagine your worst enemy coming to pay a visit! It always gets me going. (my worst enemy is away right now, this is why I am still sitting here!). No one wants someone whom you dislike to see your house looking a mess!
This is how I've gotten myself up and moving. Instead of cleaning the whole house in one day, I now spread it over a few days. If I know that I'm going to be home for the night, I pick an area of the house and go to it. That way, if I don't feel like doing anything the next night, I know that at least one part of the house was done. This way you don't feel overwhelmed. I work full time all week and not relly motivated any longer to clean all weekend. This has really worked for me. Now by the weekend, the whole house is done.
Good Luck!
