How do you clean the burner of your electric stove, which has been spilled with teriyaki sauce, honey-based?
Question:
Answers:
If it is a smooth top stove, honey is a real challenge. You might try Barkeepers Friend (you can get this a walmart). If it has a conventional top, you just need to replace the burner pans.
You can use a regular vinegar to soak them in. This has no chemicals and won't harm your burner. Remember to always allow to dry thoroughly before putting back on stove. A hair dryer can also help at the ends if your not sure. This has worked perfectly for me!:>)
This will work on your problem, Make all-purpose cleaners
For fast cleanups around the kitchen, keep two recycled spray bottles filled with these vinegar-based solutions:
For glass, stainless steel, and plastic laminate surfaces, fill your spray bottle with 2 parts water, 1 part distilled white vinegar, and a couple of drops of dishwashing liquid.
For cleaning walls and other painted surfaces, mix up 1/2 cup white vinegar, 1 cup ammonia, and 1/4 cup baking soda in 1 gallon (3.7 liters) water and pour some into a spray bottle. Spritz it on spots and stains whenever needed and wipe off with a clean towel.
GoodLuck !
most electric stoves the elements come right out and so you should be able to take it out and give it a soak in water to loosen up the terriyaki sauce. i take my burners out all the time and then pop them back into place for really stubbborn stuff use a little oven cleaner and let it do the work for you then just rinse and return to stove when dry.
