My couch has a funny smell smell?
Question:i spray it almost everyday with febreze and other sprays but i cant get the smell out please help me

Steam clean your sofa. It will help. Put a sign up next to the couch "No Farting Allowed While Sitting On Couch"! :-)

get your gps tom tom and ask it to take you to the furniture store store.
try renting or buying a steam cleaner
try unzipping the cover of it, wash th cover in the laundry and take the inside part and scrub it with frebeeze or whatever. make sure the inside isnt like feathers, it should be a one piece thing.

Take the cushions and pillows to a dry cleaners. Then vacuum the couch real good, especially the arms and under where the cushions were. Make sure you put the vacuum nozzle down the back of the couch, you know the crack where the seat and the back meet, sometimes things fall down in there. Once you get the cusions back put dryer sheets under the cushions, and replace once a week.
Sometimes if upholstery fabrics get damp and it is humid weather it will draw out nasty odors. Try to avoid spraying so often, I know that is hard.
if you have a cat/dog then I think U need a special spray made to clean pet related smells.

Those smelly sprays will do no good at all. They are only smell and not deoderant.
Lysol is a much better deoderant than mos things are. There is a very good product that they use to deoderize cars with and I can't rememver the name of it.
Try Lysol and see if that helps. Be sure to use plenty and then let the sofa dry. NOt soaking it but enough to make it damp.
i use febreeze to get the smells outta my couch if it was me i would use carpet fragrance on the floor and use air freshener to make my house smell better that way it will neutralize the odors from the couch or try febreezing the couch like twice a day
use 1 tbsp. white vinegar to 1 qt. water and spray all over. take outside in the sun if possible. sunlight is a natural deodorizer and also kills bacteria. so does vinegar. if you can smell the vinegar you have too much. don't use on leather or dry clean fabrics. you can still put them in the sun, though. you may need an ozone machine if the smell is throughout the couch. call a pro and they can help you :)
try putting un used dryer sheets in the cushions. put some in the arms underneath the cushions.and the back. this leaves a nice smell and will save you from haveing to spray it every day.
