How can I get white paint off black slate floor tiles without damaging the tiles and as little work as poss?

I just found a product that removes dried Oil Based, or Acrylic Paints. It's very safe,and non toxic. It wont hurt what ever you put it on,Unless of course it's dried paint. It's called,"Winsor&Newton Brush cleaner & Restorer. I got it at Aron Brothers Art Mart. You can use Easy-Off Oven Cleaner too,but it has to be in the blue can only. Do not use the yellow can,use the blue one. That's Fume Free,and very mild ,but does take paint off. Bye

After it dries a little try to just peel it off. May be tedious, worth a shot, right?
If the tile is unfinished then try using a razor blade and scrape carefully, its a slow long process.
If the tile has some caoting or glaze then you need to be careful not to remove this, but it should make it easier.
if its emulsion,a bit of soapy water and a cloth should do the trick. if its gloss paint,a bit of turps and a cloth.
If it is truly natural slate, nothing much is going to damage it other than a hammer and chisel.
try white spirit (turps). usually quite good stuff.
There is a product called "Goof off" it should take the paint off.
Get a silver Delorean and install a flux capacitor, then go back in time until just before the paint was spilled.
No such thing as "as little work as possible" - there is only "as much work as it takes".
Slate may be impervious but its surface is easily scratched or stained by chemicals or oils, so care needs to be taken.
If emulsion paint, I would suggest using a hair-dryer on warm setting (NOT hot), water and a non-abrasive cleaning pad (usually a green nylon cleaning pad will suffice) - and an appropriate degree of effort. Try an a small area first.
After successful removal it may be necessary to reseal the surface against further spillages (if the tiles were previously sealed).
