Is there a way to get red dye out of my dryer?
Question:We had an Au Pair that was staying with us and didn't find out until after she left that she apparently washed something that bled and she must have put it in our dryer because now our dryer has dried red stains in it. It doesn't seem to come off on the clothes (I washed one load after trying to clean it out) but it is very unappealing and I fear that if we put something in the dryer that is really wet - it may come off. Is there any way to get this out? Thanks for your help.

Try rubbing alcohol. Take a cloth and put somes rubbing alcohol on it and wipe the inside of the dryer. I have used this to get ink out and it worked. It is worth a try.
bleach spray and very wet terry cloth scrub, then dry from lowest to highest settings wipping out inbetween 20 min intervals and vaccuum inside also
Hi, just dampen a towel with a mixture of 1/2 bleach and 1/2 water and rub the red dye off your dryer drum. Then, run a load of wet towels through the dryer to get off all the bleach. Tada!
i used a Mr clean magic eraser to remove marks from a red sharpie marker, it took some elbow grease but i got all of I out of my washer and dryer.
