Stains plz help!?

Question:does hair spray take stains out of ur clothes?i have a huge stain it wont come out! will hair spray work?

Answers:
Hair spray tends to work on stains which would dissolve using alcohol. That's the part of hair spray that's doing the work.

What made the stain? If it's ink or marker, hair spray might work. If it's organic (grass, blood, ketchup, oil) then you'll do better with my favorite laundry stain treatment, Zout.

First I have never heard of that. Hey what kinda stain is it?
I doubt it, hairspray is really just like a glue. There are a number of stain reoval products out there. I've had good luck w/ Shout. Let it soak in. Also if it's a grease stain, you can use a waterless hand cleaner like Gojo.
If you can tell us the type of stain you think it might be , then we can help a little. Most stains can be removed by soaking your garment in cold water , then by adding a small drop of washing up liquid, rub in with your finger tips, leave for a few min´s then wash on a normal machine wash. Some other stains will come out the natural way after washing them . By hanging them outside in the sun. The sun will bleach the stain out. But like I said, if you don´t know what the stain is then I can´t suggest anything to help . sorry
