Best way to clean bong?
Question:i have a ceramic bong that is starting to get brown stains on the bottom i tried to put it in hot water but that made it worse. what is the best thing to do to clean a ceramic bong?

Soak it in a sink with hot water and a cap full of bleach. Soak it for a whole night and see what happens. You can also throw it into a dishwasher afterwards also.

rubbing alcohol, it breaks up the resin real well. you might want to let it soak for a little bit then cap it off with your hand and shake it. it works very well.

Scrape all the black resin off of it and smoke it

next morning, rinse it with luke warm water.

Soak it in rather hot water with Dawn dishwashing soap.Than use a pipe cleaner. Let dry. It will look brand new again.

yes, hot water will only make it disgusting (as you now know). first, once it dries, scrape what resin you can from the bowl. (do with that what you will). then soak it in Efferedent for the recommended amount of time listed on the box. scrape out what you can, if there is anything. and soak it twice, if necessary. scrape out the remaining (should be little). you're done.

Try baking soda and distilled water. Also when Yo refill it with water, be sure to use distilled water. City water has too much iron and minerals. :)
Iv'e never cleaned one before but this is what I'd do if I had to clean one. - I get some Dawn dish liquid and some hot water. Put both into the bong and let set. Then I'd take a baby bottle brush and scrub it out.
