How to clean my house?
Question:I live with two big dogs in and out bringing in dirt, dust, hair, etc. I have all hard tile / Laminate wood floor. But can not keep my house clean at all time. I normally run my iRobot once a week, and mop a floor like every two weeks with Vinegar water mix. I do not like to use any chemical. The tile grout is also a problem, it is supposed to be a sand color, and white tile. I installed it brand new, sealed it. I cleaned it once big time with chemical cleaned it as much as possible and sealed it again. But I am getting sick of my house getting dirty. It is supposed to be a brand new house.

The carpet suggestion was a really good one. What I do is keep a towel by the door and wipe her feet off as she comes in.really it only takes a moment. On your tile floor try making a paste from baking soda and vinegar. It will really help the grout lines. The only thing with that is it is a on your hands and knees job. My only other suggestion would be to vacuum more often, up to say 3 times a week and you should see a difference. My animals live in the house with us and we like having them as part of the family as well.

Unfortunately to keep your house looking nice it really requires daily cleaning. Daily vacuming, moping, dusting etc. My house is not a mess, but I don't clean all the time. I alternate weeks on sweeping & mopping and vacuming. My hubby does the dishes :) so they are kept up. But to keep it really nice it needs done daily.
If you have a garage buy a strip of shag carpet about 5 feet wide and 5 to 8 feet long. Always have your dogs come in the house through the carpet. It should act as a mud room and keep much of the dirt out side. Then vacuum the hair from your pets as needed.
This is my easiest answer yet: KEEP THE DOGS OUTSIDE!
Your house will never stay 'new' with those dogs in the house. Don't you have a basement for them to play in? Or attach a big kennel to a garage (I bought a fence kennel and a few pieces of plywood and some two by fours for a roof and made my dog a kennel).
if i were you i'd keep the dogs outside. but eitherwise, u should vacuum or use quick wiper daily. use the wet cloth and dry cloth.
