How do you remove a set-in red koolaid stain from carpet?

Question:My roommate spilt red koolaid on our beige carpet and rather than tell me about it, she just blotted it up and left a massive stain! Now that the lease is almost up, she decides to tell me that there's a massive stain in the carpet in her room. So, if anyone has any good ideas for koolaid, I could really, really use them!

Answers:
There is a carpet cleaning product out there with oxi-clean in it. It works on ANYTHING! You can get it at Walmart. However, don't let it set any longer than the directions say or it will pull the color out of the carpeting. If anything will work, this will be it. Otherwise, you may have to pay to dye the carpet.

your out of luck it.s Red your F#@#d
get new carpet> Baking soda
buy a small container of oxiclean, mix it with warm water in a squirt bottle. put it on a small area at a time use a white cloth and soak it up.it should come right out. dont let it sit on the stain long. you will probably be able to tell where you cleaned the carpet.good luck.
better call a pro. kool-aid stains carpet because the same type of dye is used to dye carpet and kool-aid.
